Don't worry Mr Easy Sir ( (c) Samwise Gamgees Return of the King. Probably!)

Recorded the episode on DVD. I can burn you a copy! :clap2:

Not sure I would describe it as good any more.

The last one was a bit ridiculous (It was post 2001 and people with a serious criminal history were allowed into the US via a military base, yeah right! The same people were then investigated by the FBI and not deported, yeah right!) + it was about taking down and putting up a bridge that is still in the NE of England.

I won't spoil this one for anyone by saying what goes on but it does strain credulity beyond breaking point.

Its needs too improve from this point, the original stories had some credibility, these I don't think they do but.....

This one is more along the lines of the original plot that Ian La Frenais and Dick Clement wanted to write for the first series in 1982 - except that was based in Prague, which was then behind the Iron Curtain.

Cheers Ace...as long as it'll work on my slightly ancient (but reliable) DVD player, that'd be marvellous.

It kept up its very high standards, a very good start.

I liked it.

Have followed AP since the first one back in the early 80's.

From the previous series:

Moxy: My sister's me only living relative. She's got this kid called Gooey.
Barry: Gooey? That's a strange name innit?. What, is that his nickname?
Moxy: No. It's his proper name, like.
Neville: No way, man. You can't call your kid Gooey.
Moxy: It is. She calls him that in this letter.
Neville: Well, how's it spelt?
Moxy: G-U-Y.

Must admit to never having been able to watch it since the 80s Germany/Spain ones, which were classics (RIP Gary Holtman). Prefer to leave the memory there rather than be disappointed by 40/50-somethings trying to recreate the magic.
