I think Young Gifted & Black comes from Prince Busters' "Sister Big Stuff" album, which I may have given you in cassette format?
There's some classics on there, including a beautiful version of "Bridge Over Troubled Waters".
You won't see me at away matches for a while, as I'm having a rest! My sciatica and old age are catching up with me, making the driving really hard work lately!!

I think Young Gifted & Black comes from Prince Busters' "Sister Big Stuff" album, which I may have given you in cassette format?
There's some classics on there, including a beautiful version of "Bridge Over Troubled Waters".
You won't see me at away matches for a while, as I'm having a rest! My sciatica and old age are catching up with me, making the driving really hard work lately!!

Thanks JS, looks like I need to dig a bit deeper then to find it, as I don't remember hearing that Prince Buster version before. Must confess that the hard drive doesn't get out to play as much as it should, but the boxes of cassettes are getting plenty of airtime at work and in the car

Sorry to hear about the sciatica. I feel for you having been there myself. Put paid to my hod carrying days and at the time it was at its worst I wouldn't have been able to drive had I not had an automatic car at the time, so I understand about the away games. Must be gutting for you having not missed a single home or away for all those years.

If you haven't seen an osteopath yet then I'd definitely recommend doing so. I see a Cranial Osteopath from time to time and she's brilliant! Much more gentle than the bone cracking conventional Osteopaths. I also used a pilates routine from a dvd that has cured the constant lower back pain that I suffered from for years. I rarely do the routine now, just remember to hold everything in as it were and make sure my posture doesn't slip. You'd be very welcome to the dvd if you want as it could well stop your sciatica coming back again, once you've got it freed up in the first place that is. PM me if you want more info about all things back pain, as there's a useful youtube link for sciatica I could send too.

Good to hear from you JS! I'm still trawling through the hoards of tunes you were good enough to give me a while back! Sorry to hear you're struggling mate, hope you can get control of it soon

Thanks FM and WW. I've probably made it sound worse than it is, but if I have to sit down for more than half an hour or so, I get pretty awful pain in my left buttock hence the easing off of the driving. I'm guessing it's sciatica? It was uncomfortable balancing on my "good" buttock for hours on end driving back from up north every other week. The good news is that I can still play football - well, turn up and kick a ball around!
