As is widly expected the game against arsenal is likely to set a attendance record at the Amex but what will the attendance be & will it be bettered later in the season when the extra seats are added.

I'm thinking 27234 for Saturday & to be beaten when we play palace in march 28212

You're saying we'll be over 2,500 seats short of capacity V's Palace, would of thought we'd have at least nearly 30,000 against Palace.

Palace game:

Will the mid tier seats be sold then (a 1901 5 year commitment)?

And the police will insist on mega empty zones between fans.

29,000 would be good going.

Don't think the new 1901 will get the same deal as the existing 1901 deal. As for the mega empty buffer zones then yes I can see it happening but lets hope or common sense prevails and the police/club take the huge buffer zone out of their allocation instead of given them 3,300 then denying us thousands of fans in the ground.

Last season the capacity was 22500 & we got less than 21000 & that was with no buffer zones between fans so with a buffer zone this season the capacity will be reduced

It is a meaningless statistic. It will be less than even Brighton v Rochdale in the third division because the Goldstone held more. If / when the Amex is expanded to nearer 40,000 then that will be a talking point but as it is it is a big shrug of the shoulders.

Last season the attendance was the number of people that turned up.
This season it's the number of tickets sold.

It's a shame the full capacity of the Amex when completed will be 30,500. This means we are unlikely to ever achieve a 30,000 attendance because of the segregation between sets of fans.
