Because more than a few Spurs players have ended up at the Albion over the years and to some degree Spurs' ability to combine periods of genius football with periods of frustrating mind numbing under-achievement is rather Albionesque (assuming we are not claiming to be Barcelona on the basis of one session of exceptional football).
