Escpecially when you factor in the players in the 1st team that basically cost nothing.

Fabregas, Flamini, Clichy, Eboue, Almunia....im sure there are more but those of the top of my head.
They cost no more than most of those reserve team players.

Its all about coaching.
Yes, from an early age, long before they come to Arsenal. Most Arsenal players, luckily for them, aren't English and thus haven't had to come through the bearpit that is kids' football.

after watching the arse last night, if God forbid, anything happened to Brighton, I think I would go up to town and watch them.

they play a game that is significantly different in every way to the one we play.

Did anyone notice that the ball only leaves the ground when they put crosses in or the goalkeeper whacks it forward. It is superb stuff to watch

Jose Antonio Reyes has passed his medical at Arsenal but is still waiting for international clearance to play for the Premiership leaders.
The 20-year-old winger was signed from Sevilla in a four-and-a-half-year deal worth up to £17.5m.

Spain forward Jose Antonio Reyes has joined Atletico Madrid from Arsenal.
The 23-year-old signed a four-year deal for a reported £6m after Real Madrid refused to offer more than £4m.

Reyes, who spent last season on loan at Real and scored the vital goals against Mallorca to help the side to La Liga, said he was "happy" to return to Spain.

"I'm happy again at the club I wanted to join. Real wanted me right up until the last moment, but Atletico made a great effort to get me," said Reyes.

"The club have been interested in me a long time and tried to sign me from Sevilla when I was 13. I owe it to them."

Hmm , and wenger always does such good business..........

I think the initial fee Arsenal paid was locked into several cluaes about games played etc so I doubt they paid £17.5 million.

You have to commend Wenger and Arsenal they are a joy to watch and they do not pay out massive transfer fees so must therefore have a good scouting network world wide.

And a season ticket is not the only way you can get to go to games, if you join the Red membership (£30 a year) you can get tickets to nearly every game bar the big ones as long as you are on the net as soon as they go on sale.
