Armed man in Hove bookmakers robbery

An armed man has robbed a betting shop in Hove, prompting a police appeal for information.

Sussex Police said the man entered the Ladbrokes in Portland Road at 1500 BST and threatened staff with a knife.

Det Insp Lee Horner said the man left the betting shop on foot with a quantity of cash and headed towards Rutland Road.

The suspect was white, of slim build and in his 40s. He was wearing a black leather jacket and had stubble.

I could be wrong, but I think thats the one Ninja Elephant works in. So hope he is alright if he was there.
