It is frightening when you see the ease as to which many clubs get their stadium. To all those that helped gain planning permission in many ways. Whether that be Falmer4All, The Seagulls Party, The interested Parties, Dick & Martin & the Board, the marchers, the demonstrators, the postcard gang and senders, the letter writers, the flower senders, all the fans and anyone else I have forgotten to mention.

We, you, all of us deserve a hearty round of applause.

If you were building a house, you'd find a lender who would be prepared to stump up the money.

But he wouldn't confirm a single penny until you got planning permission.

from what i remember way back when two jags said yes, dick tight said that the farmer had to give 6 months notice and while that time was being used up we would be calling all the funds in that wre promised to build falmer
