Since 1900 the womens role(not including child care) has gone from 44 hours a week to less than 16 now.

To lose 2/3's of a role and not face consequences? women decided to chase our role instead.

Female partcipation in the economy started significantly rising from 1957, its largest rises were in the 1980's. No where near second wave feminism (Early 70's), but correlates with rapid technological change in the home(1950's) and workplace(1980's).


Are women up to it? Well during the US Civil war when the men left the plantations to fight the women left behind in charge were more brutal than the men had been. Were the most adaptive species on the planet who knows what may happen.
