Atherton is moaning about them going off now The law says danger to ANY player or umpire. Yes it is not dangerous for the batsman facing the spinner but stuff fielding silly mid off in dark conditions and someone swinging the bat at the spinners. I don't think anyone has actually thought about this and I bet that this is the reason they came off.

Billy Bowden has said on TMS that they offered the Aussies the light this mornibg when the meter read 6. something. They offered it to England when it was reading 5. something.

Seems fair to me but it has helped us.
