having watched our boss and his no 2 play in a charity match do you think they are just to old to register as players in case of emergency,esp tarrico he is only 36 ? gus to play for reserves?

Didn't Tarrico retire cos of injury? Presuming he/his club got some kind of insurance payout for that, I'd imagine he wouldn't be able to play professionally again without having to pay it back.
