Are hooligans posing cowards or just plain stupid?

I have to agree with Dwayne's initial post - but then he's let himself down after a bit of goading from Watford O.

Shame really.

I too read LORD B's link - I think all those guys must have a small penis and a self esteem to match.

Top boys?? I RRFLMFAO.

Anyone for a tear up?

With reference to your comments regarding Stone Island clothing, those 'real deal' lads actually take the Stone Island badges off, thus not drawing attention to themselves.
I saw many 'lads' on Saturday with the badges missing.
Also you are right about these young 'kids' who wear all the gear, who think they are hard, I beleive they just want to be part of something.
But they just look out of place and a embarressment.

I was picked to join the hoolie parade. I can see why they might think I could be trouble - I'm 6 foot 3 with short hair (only got it cut on Thursday) and I'm (ahem) well built (fat). At first I was pissed off at being detained by the police as I had a mate waiting for me at Liverpool Street and I wanted to hit the town but when I looked around me at the collection of snide Burberry scarves, Stone Isalnd jackets and tatooed knuckles I could sympathise with the old bill - they had a job to do - and I felt more and more pissed off that the reason my day was being ruined was because of these morons, supposedly my own set of fans. Fair enough, if they want to kick the shit out of each other then fine. Give them a sport hall somewhere close to each ground filled with bottles and baseball bats and lock them in - I've no trouble with that. But when innocent people are made to feel like scum, have everyone staring at them for and hour and a half AND pay out plenty of cash for the privelige then something should be done.

They seem quite pleased about the way it went.

But some people are easily pleased.

Look here

I tried that link, and it's the first blocked site I've ever encountered from my PC at work. Our "fans" must be posting some charming stuff on there.

Well I know some of the "real deals" and I didn't see them in that pub in Hammersmith, and if fighting is there release then so be it,and it's fun to watch. My beef is with the fake twats that know the labels, know the lingo but wouldn't know bottle if they were standing in the liquor section of Sainsburys and couldn't punch their way out of a paper bag.

eh a bit like you walked into trouble at a Euston Station pub between Bolton and Spurs....

get real man...these twats are ruining football again.

Have you noticed that as our Firm numbers go up, our support away go down and less and less fans are wearing Colours.

Yesterday on my way to the game, walked past a pub near Hammersmith station and see the same old albion (top boy) faces altogether looking really smug, but why?? the police are set up all round the pub there's blatantly not gonna be any fighting or stand offs with opposing fans, yet because they are gonna get a police escort to the ground these people seem to think it makes 'em look like the big boys, trouble woooo!!

After the game, we come out to the council estate scum giving it large, inciting the albion fans, again, massive police prescence but on the way out I spot two guys giving "orders" ie giving it all the pseudo, army major tactical hand signals etc to round the boys up...right in front of the police...look you mugs if you really wanted a fight why notify the police of it, do you see real criminals notifying the police of their actions before they commit the crimes, NOOO all I can say is sad, sad, sad MUPPETS.

..and as for the big boy dress code, I thought hooligans were meant to be the sharpest dressed men about town not f***ing robots that wear the same uniform, purchased cheaply from e-bay, you all look the same no1 even notices you, fools.

RANT OVER!
This coming from someone who sends threatening pm's to people.
Know thats more pathetic dwayne,so why start such a topic as most hoolys are up for it and they join because they like fighting its that simple.
Do you think you would be wanted if you done f-all get real:p :drink:

Wise words. But it annoys me that people defend hooligans because in the end, it ALWAYS affects the innocent. Like seemingly everybody else on this board, I'd be delighted if they could just get on with it without affecting anybody else. But they can't and they don't even bother trying to stay out of everyone elses way. How is a bunch of wankers trashing a pub or a train deserving of respect?

The hooligans like to think of themselves as latter day versions of the Kray twins i.e. "They only damage their own" and they all love their mum, in order to give themselves some self respect.

We know that in reality there is always some 'collateral damage', but this tends to be ignored in their boasts about smacking each others chops to pieces
