Him playing to the form he's capable of perhaps?

Neither here nor there
I never really thought he was a weak link - he has the ability, and the attitude, we need from a goalie at this level but like all keepers will make mistakes. And those mistakes are often more noticeable than those by outfield players, for obvious reasons.

He is massively underrated and is actually a very good keeper?

He didn't really have to worry about his weakness as their crossing was shit.

To be fair, he got on the end of a few crosses, I remember him tipping one particularly dangerous one away in the second half, and caught the rest comfortably.

Cannot fault the bloke last night. Apart from one goal kick, and let's face it, nobody's ripping into the outfield players for a single misplaced pass, are they?

They didn't exploit his biggest weakness?
Harper's loan spell was a kick up the arse?
Anomaly?

Confidence (vital in keepers) as a result of:

1) Harper, who was brought in to pass on the benefit of his experience to our keepers.

2) all the positive tweets he gets from fans now he's on Twitter.

Here, there and everywhere
He has openly spoken out about how beneficial having Harper there was, that Harper was giving all the keepers additional coaching and helping them out and keeping in touch on the phone and stuff.

Seems to have been an excellent judgement call by Gus.

Thought he was fairly good on Saturday as well, personally.

Good call from Gus, could easily have gone the other way. Getting dropped after a series of gaffes and seeing Harper brought in for a month, then being put back in the side only after he'd gone, could have been a real kick in the nuts for Ankergren.

Casper must be made of strong stuff, which is great to see. He did deserve to get dropped though, the errors at the time were really costing us.

Before the Cov match the North Stand sang his name & you could see what a boost it gave him. If he's got over his wobbly spell that's something to rejoice in.

It was a toss up between him and CMS as to who got the most support from us last night.

Casper really appreciated it too, applauding us and giving us the  as he went off.

Top work Casper, you never put a foot wrong last night.

Goalkeeper is the most exposed position on the pitch. No place to hide, that's why Goalkeepers thrive on confidence. He lost it and know he has got it back. Shows good strength of character, big up to Casper!!!
