anyway to test 5.1 on Sky?

did a google but did'nt find much, some channels sounds like 5.1 and others in plain stereo but its hard to define properly. So is there anyway to test it? like a channel or something? ta

Doesn't your amplifier have a digital read out? Stereo, Dolby Digital etc etc?

Just watch a movie like Star Wars or whatever if you are testing 5:1 ... I have it and most channels give you the surround sound anyway (Sky).

nah just a standard readout that never changes

Films work fine off the DVD, I'm talking about off the Sky box, sounds like it is working (Godzilla on Watch channel 109 for example), but I'd like to know if there is a way to test/check it properly.

cool ta, not got HD only standard channels but they sound 5.1, I'm just being a GEEK and wanna check it properly!
