Anyone thinking of getting Sky anytime soon?

Because Sky have said I can have a shiny new Sky+ 160 if I introduce a friend to Sky. Problem is, I can't think of anyone who hasn't got it that would want it.

So - a crisp £20 to anyone who wants to be my friend!

I think it is. I've been tempted to buy a hard disk and whack it in myself but if they will upgrade it for free, I don't mind giving someone £20 if they are going to get it anyway.

I have recently binned Sky and gone for Freeview. Fed up paying £34 a month for endless adverts, plugs for other programs on.........Sky, and Richard Keys alarmingly hairy hands.

Sky+ is the Dogs Bollox though

Am VERY happy with my Sky+. When I was looking into it, I was tempted by the 160Gb but the standard one seems to suit me fine.

Apparently they say that 30mins is about 1Gb so it means that the 160 can hold up to 80 hours worth which is EMMENSE!!

I do find that I delete stuff once I've wanted it though and have never gone below 70% capacity.
