I've been asked by marketing to write a proposal for an event. Here's how the brief starts.

"It will be a semi-blank canvas. That is, we want to leverage a global core agenda and theme, adjusted to reflect nuances and key factors in each market to optimize relevance."

Does anyone have a clue what that means and what language it's written in.

Even looney makes more sense.

It means they want something that appeals to everybody but they can tailor to suit individual markets.
