I dug mine our last night:

"the whistle blows and the fans cheer, you can hear that noise from the palace pier"

"theres a shot at the goal and the fans go wild, you can hear them singing from the Seven Dials"

Marvellous scenes! :)

The real original rappers were Sugarhill Gang - nobody come close to them.

Another line sung by Gary Stevens (out of key of course):

"there's a shot at goal and it's blue and white - it's in the back of the net to the fans delight"

I wonder how long it took Sir Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber to compose it?

MC Tony Millard and the Mystery Boys (a rather unfortunate nomenclature, given events thereafter) were the artists. Still got it on 7"... the only 7" I've ever kept, except for "John Kettley is a Weatherman" by A Tribe Of Toffs.

I've got the 12"! The front cover shows the team in the home blue strip & the back shows them in the yellow away strip.
You can't beat the Albions version of "On Broadway"..."In Brighton". George Benson eat your heart out!
