As a matter of interest (I don't know much about golf), what do you mean by 'par'? With a mean of 3.65, I would have thought your most frequent number of goes (your 'mode') is 3. Shouldn't that now be your par? Or is there another golfing term? Ta.

Its a trend from earlier in this thread where one's daily score was described in golfing terms.

A four was seen as par, three as birdie, two as eagle and five or six as bogey or double bogey respectively.
