Just done it. My first one and got it in two. Took about 10 seconds.

It's not really clever: it all hinges on the first guess - I had three letters, so it was pretty easy from then. If I'd chosen a completely different word, I'd have been struggling

Had to waste 5th guess to work out which letters I didn't know.
Only had 4 but 1/2/5 in the right position limited the likely options.

No need, if it’s not a word it won’t be accepted
