Yea true, its a term that tends to drift. Daily Mail, Daily Mail Readers, People you suspect of reading the Daily Mail, Hitler, Das Riech, Hitony etc...

I am not writing out the political ideaology of each but fundamentally

For left see socialism - e.g Democratic Socialist parties (Labour, Italian PD etc)

For right see capitalism - e.g Conservative Party, German CDU etc)

It has been argued Woodrow Wilson and Rooselvelt were Fascists, but in an accountable democracy, it does not in my view classify them in the same catagory as below

For Extremes

Far Left see Communism - i.e. USSR(1917-1992), China(1945-), Cambodia (1975-79), Cuba (1959-)

Far Right see Fascists - Nazi Germany(1933-45), Italy (1922-44), Francoist Spain (1936-75)

I don't think there are any on this board who conform to any of these views so i think the point (and thread) are moot.

No sure any of us can be Pidgeon holed so easily as we are on this board. There seem to be many of us that don't feel represented by and political party or political ideology.

This left right crap is just lazy generalisation and not helpful in any debate about politics or any thing else.

THen you're looking in the wrong places. When, on the rare circumstance somebody posts something resembling sense on here we'll review the situation.
