It is worth remembering that 35 points (Leeds, Bournemouth and Luton) have been taken out of the equation so it is not impossible to expect a lower points target for Relegation/promotion/play offs.

Anyone with an eye for history and/or who is old enough to remember will recall seasons 1978/79 and 1987/88. In those seasons, Albion gathered unstoppable momentum at the business end of the season to secure promotion.

Not to mention 2000/01 and 2001/02.
