Not only home to Pennywise. We were home to George Best's U.S. bar - Bestie's. Very similar to the one he owned in the U.K. He lived in Hermosa for years, during and after his NASL years. Probably one of the best places to live in the States. Lot's of bars, beaches and the best amateur football clubs in California.
