Dell is probably your nest bet. It does depend on whether you want something quite simple or if you want a gaming PC. Try looking at PC PRO: IT News & Reviews to see what the recommend. At the end of the day though PCs now are much of a muchness as the Mickey Mouse firms like Tiny are no longer with us.

I'm sure PC World can do a decent deal, my recent experiences with them show that they are a lot more professional than they used to me. Also, look at Computer Hardware - All - Scan.co.uk
, they have their own make.

Want gaming? - Go for a Dell/other PC.

Want everything else but gaming? - Go for a Mac.
