Any idea why he didn’t come on today? Full rest in the international break and still can’t get a sniff, looking like money well spent.
I guess will play against Brentford, but i admit I was surprised tooAny idea why he didn’t come on today? Full rest in the international break and still can’t get a sniff, looking like money well spent.
They are paying his wages. We just paid a loan fee to Barca of £7M or whatever it isSounds like Barca is very pleased that Fati is with us.
And it’s not them paying his wages!
It probably doesn’t hurt to keep Barca on side - I still think he could come good and another season with us where Barca cover at least 75% of his wages would be fine by me. However, if RDZ leaves in the summer, he may take Fatso with him.
Saving him to start Wednesday I’d imagineAny idea why he didn’t come on today? Full rest in the international break and still can’t get a sniff, looking like money well spent.
Only if RDZ goes to BarcaSounds like Barca is very pleased that Fati is with us.

Not necessarily- if RDZ goes to another EPL Club, Fati would follow if called, there are Clubs interested in both of them - Fati only came to Brighton to work with RDZ - and Roberto has great faith in him. Barca won’t want Fati back - he is too far down the pecking order now - I’m pretty sure too, Roberto doesn’t have the experience for Barca and would prefer an Italian side if he went back to Europe.Only if RDZ goes to Barca

Some idle gossip for you

No, sorry but you are wrong - they are not, at least we are paying the bulk of his wages amounting to around £160,00 per week. That is was the £7m loan ‘fee’ was for. Barca could not afford to keep paying Fati’s wages while he was playing so little - they needed to send him out on loan so another club would take on his salary, get him up to pre-meniscus injury condition so they could sell him at the end of the season. They are paying his wages. We just paid a loan fee to Barca of £7M or whatever it is
Yes, but we aren’t paying his wages. I.e he’s not on our payrollTo cover his wages.
We are covering his salary - that means we are paying his wages. You are now arguing semantics because you were incorrect. I’m not going to argue the point - by any reasonable interpretation Brighton are paying Fati £160,000 per week - I don’t know whose frickin bank account it’s coming out of - perhaps it is a loan account held in trust, or we are paying £160,000 to Barca each week it really doesn’t matter - we are covering the bulk of his salary that is why the loan fee is astronomical cf to one we would normally agree to !Yes, but we aren’t paying his wages. I.e he’s not on our payroll
Chill - I’m just saying we paid Barca a single fee to cover whatever , fees, loan fee, anything else.We are covering his salary - that means we are paying his wages. What is going to do Wednesday he shown nothing in league games.Saving him to start Wednesday I’d imagine
I guess will play against Brentford, but i admit I was surprised too
Terrific. Marquee signing who’s meant to be better then anything we’ve got, can’t even play ten minutes when chasing the game before he might play 90 minutes 3 days later. They are paying his wages. We just paid a loan fee to Barca of £7M or whatever it is
I am chill - you said we weren’t paying his wages, Barca was - completely contradicting something I had said without reason, so I corrected you and you pushed back with a semantic argument even when I posted numerous links to back up what I had originally said. Now you agree that we are covering the bulk of his salary to the amount of £160,000 per week so all is good - because that is what everyone (apart from you it seems) understands by ‘we are paying his nearly all his wages not Barca’ .Chill - I’m just saying we paid Barca a single fee to cover whatever , fees, loan fee, anything else.

Mate, you're getting phosphorescent againI am chill - you said we weren’t paying his wages, Barca was - completely contradicting something I had said without reason, so I corrected you and you pushed back with a semantic argument even when I posted numerous links to back up what I had originally said. Btw his wages that we are paying amount to 10 months contract so a total amount of £6.4m - nearly the whole loan and it is very unlikely to have been paid as a total lump sum amount in advance but over the contract period.
No need to apologise
Leave me aloneMate, you're getting phosphorescent again
(I'm getting really good at passing myself off as a regular geeza, innit? )
This isn't true. We're paying around 60% of his wages which comes to around £7m. This is the total fee. They are paying his wages. We just paid a loan fee to Barca of £7M or whatever it is
