I shall go about my day as usual, and occasionally dip into the news to hear of the hideous disaster befalling a bunch of billionaires before going for a nice walk in the country. In six months this will be spoken of as just "the last time the market had an enforced restructuring". In two years time they all be back at it as if nothing had happened, inflating the financial bubble once more so they can see it burst all over again in a decade.
Like the run on the pound during the ERM crisis the media shall whine, the markets shall roar and some shall be bitten, but the majority of us will battle through. It's the way it works
