Wiggins has also won 4 gold medals at Olympics, and a silver and a couple of Bronze medals. We've only bothered in the TDF because it's only now it's a fair race without the drugs. He was favourite to win because he's the best. Mo Farah bowdown has only won 2 Olympic golds, which is nothing in comparison.

If Murray wins the US it will be great - a grand slam event and the Olympics. But that's only great in the context of Britain being awful at Tennis. Other countries have athletes winning grand slams every year, it's not that amazing. Wiggins on the other hand, is the only cyclist to ever win the TDF and gold at the Olympics in the same year - an amazing achievement, and not just by British standards.

You don't watch much cycling, do you? I think if you spoke to anybody who does, you'd get a new insight into the sport. Maybe you wouldn't care.

Djokovic is now taking Ferrer apart as everyone thought he would and surely he will cruise into the final. Murray isn't at the peak of his form, or hasn't been so far. He would need to find the Olympics performances to win.
