I think the concern will be, as alluded to in the OP, will rising utility bills and mortgages in early 2023, affect STH renewals next March?

Not saying it won’t happen but every season, usually a bit later than this, we have the doom and gloom merchants predicting a cataclysmic fall in ST renewals whether it be because of no goals, being in bottom 6 at the time, no forwards, Hughton, Potter, bottle tops, Covid or Dan Burn going to the Saudis. To date ST renewals have stood firm. Not having enough money will be the biggest test.
