Adele, mainly as Amy Winehouse reminds me of fingernails down a blackboard.

Not the beginnings of a contest.
Amy was a nailed on genius,writing as well as singing & had barely found her feet.
Adele is OK but a blander, shouty version who mopped up Amy's audience

Amy by a long way. Far more talented and interesting. Unfortunately a lot of what made her an exciting artist also proved to be her downfall which was a tragedy

Adele is alright- good voice and all that but I'd have no interest in seeing her live or even listening to a whole album the whole way through

But there is no beating Adele for her technical skill.
