Im going to Amsterdam for a stag do on Friday and I cant wait.

Been a few times before and Ill never tire of it, loads of good bars, clubs and hash. mmmm.

If you are in a group of lads and fancy a bit of an eye opener check out the banana bar!

A good cheap hotel is the Delta Hotel if you book the 3/4 bed rooms - opposite the Grasshopper Coffee House/Red Light District and 5 minutes from the train station. Free breakfast in the morning as well

We stayed there for the England game in 2002. It was OK and cheap especially as a lot of the rooms had 3 beds in them. To be honest decent digs are waste in the Dam as you only ever use them to pass out in or get a wash.

Ah the Grasshopper Coffee house, sort of have memories of there....

Been there three times and loved it every time.
If your male, like Strip shows and getting wasted then you'll love it, just keep together as a group and you'll be fine.

I stayed near the Van Gogh museum which is a much nicer area and about a 15 minute walk into the red light district and pubs and clubs
