I will be coming to the AMEX by motorcycle tonight, where is safe to park? Do you have to queue up to leave? Anything else I should know?
There is a row of bikes in the coach park, at the top of the stairs behind the south stand including some tasty Harleys, Triumphs and a very nice Moto Guzzi Griso. I think that there are more on that part of the stadium land nearest to the Village Way/Woodingdean road junction. I'd love to hear how motorbikers are getting on with parking - I'm considering using the stadium as an excuse to buy another bike. After all these years.
Are you travelling down from Lincoln for home fixtures Impy? Sounds like you need one of these to make light of the long schlapp:-
*Note cheeky red, white & blue colour-scheme to show your support for your fave team*
You KNOW it makes sense!
A Fireblade? Too hairy for this ancient returner to the motor bikin' art. I was thinking of a naked street bike, possibly a Triumph or that beautiful Guzzi.
(Lincolnshire's where my genes come from but I was born near Brighton Station and key this in with the South Downs over my right shoulder so no long trip to the Amex for me.)
Ahhhhh, right you is. If I'm honest, I was just using your imminent return to 2-wheels as an excuse to post some Bike Porn.
BTW, I actually had a go on a Street Triple last year & it was assured & great fun to ride. I'm not a huge fan of the exhaust system on this model (either old or new), but that's just down to my own preferences. Whatever you end up going for, I'm sure you'll love the many improvements that standard machines have over the vast majority of their now-aged forerunners. Well, Just so long as that ECU keeps doing what it's supposed to...
My days of nutter bikes are over, I'll stick with my ubiquitous GS. Dont like the idea of it being pushed over though, I filled the tank this morning so it will take at least three of us to pick the bugger up.
Looking on the bright side, it'd take at least 3 muscle-bound toerags to push it over in the first place.
ps What GS have you got H/b?
