Wrong, it wasn't booked like any other corporate event. What other corprate event requires people to obey a different set of laws? I think the reason why people got so pissed at this, is because the park was still open to the public that day. BUt anyone who went in to the park, would have had to of obeyed the Muslim rules.clapham_gull said:Laughable the response to this on here.
As posted above - it was booked like any other corporate event.
Absolutey no doubt.Woodchip said:Do you reckon that "Islamic Leisure", or whatever the f*** they call themselves, can be done for Ensightment to Racial Hatred?
How did you work that one out? When Halifax employees hire the park, does everyone who attends that day have to follow a different set of laws based on the Halifax? Get yer facts right son!MYOB said:Exactly, it was a corporate booking by a company called Islamic Leisure. No different to a day for Halifax employees or a day for unemployed Croydon scumbags...

What a very sad comeback. You sad little manMYOB said:Erm, what facts? If the park was hired out by Halifax they could set whatever rules they wanted for people to come in. Ditto if it was hired by 'Anglican Leisure' or 'Welsh Methodist Leisure'. However, I doubt your petty reactionism would give a f*** in those cases.
Indeed, "BNP/National Front Leisure" could hire it out, you might fit in then.
Err, not really sure off your point. What has being English got to do with anything?Vlad the Impala said:Are you sure you are English ? ?

When was the last time Alton Towers was hired out for a corporate event, and every one who attend the park on that day had to follow a different set of laws?
Because it was Muslims and I totally disagree with what they wanted to do, you instantly shout Racist BNP/National Front. If Gay Pride wanted to hire it, and make everyone walk round in same-sex pair holding hands for the day, I would be strongly against it. Would that make me anti-gay. A gay-basher?
I would have no problem if Muslims, Christains, Jews or any other group wanted to hire it, and just got on with it. But I would and do have a problem, if Muslims, Christains, or Jews or any one else hired it and wanted to make me follow their laws and rules.
MYOB said:Erm, no I accused you of it because you've been making stuff up ('different laws' - they're rules not laws; and about the park being open to the general public when on private hire, which its not) to support your own twisted viewpoint, which is that you hate a specific religion and all its adherents, and do an incredibly poor job of hiding it.
Theres nobody being 'made' do anything, because it would have been a private hire, anyone who entered was agreeing to the rules. And guess what? Not enough of them wanted to go, because despite what you may want to believe, the majority of muslims don't actually live that kind of lifestyle, and those that do are unlikely to want to go to a theme park anyway.
Are you sure you're not Nick Griffin?

The main problem people had with this with this numb-nuts, is the park WAS open to the general public. The reason you keep saying it wasn't is because you don't know what you are talking about.MYOB said:Erm, no I accused you of it because you've been making stuff up ('different laws' - they're rules not laws; and about the park being open to the general public when on private hire, which its not) to support your own twisted viewpoint, which is that you hate a specific religion and all its adherents, and do an incredibly poor job of hiding it.
