I started watching the Albion in January 1981 so will try to spread my favourites over the past quarter of a century, they are as follows:

Peter Ward
Danny Wilson
Garry Nelson
Michel Kuipers
Adam Virgo

I could probably have thought longer and harder and come up with a better balanced 5, but those are the ones I will stick with, there is a bit of a gap between Nelson and Michel but those years were pretty forgettable on the whole and I didn't get to see that many game due to spending most of my time overseas. Adam gets in because I think he had the greatest potential of any player we have produced (Adam El-Abd will probably eclipse this and play for England), I remember a cross field pass from the right back position, I think at Port Vale, that was as good as anything I have ever seen at any level, absolutely inch perfect, pity he had to go to Celtic.
