I've heard a few people talking about Editors, are they really that good?? What sort of music are they?

Basically another standard indie-rock band that the general population will fawn over until the NME decide they're crap and set a new bandwagon in motion.

True, except they're better than most.

Less maudlin and more uplifting.

Two live albums released this year:

Live at Carnegie Hall - Thelonious Monk/John Coltrane

Drury Lane, Theatre Royal - Robert Wyatt

Marvellous stuff.

Yes The Go! Team album was recorded last year but it was also included in THIS years Mercury Music Award shortlist so I thought it was ok to include it.

Talking of this year/last year, I got Arcade Fire in autumn 2004, but that was off Pitchfork, so 'praps its UK release was only 2005...?
