Good grief !

I keep telling you,it was the great Welsh International keeper we sold to Newcastle United.

DAVE HOLLINS was our best ever, and Eric Gill wasn't far behind.

Obviously you can only decide on what you've seen, and I think we have been quite lucky with our goalkeepers over the years.

During my Albion watching lifetime, we've had some good keepers. Peter Crummitt, Mark Beeney, Eric Steele, Graham Moseley, John Keeley, Perry Digweed, FDM. All of them rarely let The Albion down. I also remember watching Brian Powney but wasn't old enough to take note of how great a keeper he was. Always appeared steady & reliable afair.

For me, its hard to separate, Peter Grummitt, Mark Beeney or John Keeley as The best ever Albion keepers I've seen.

Grummitt was by far.

Steele & Moseley admit they weren't perfect in every department.

Grummitt was.

What's amazing is that the child star had already been class at Forest & Wednesday for 13 years before joining us in 73.

Albion fans often talk about his save of the century.

Cut short by injury when still perfect.

Back in the 70's. Rejected by Mullery I believe

Aren't you getting confused with Tony Knight who played in goal for the Albion reserves in the 1970s under Mullery?
