Brighton make front headlines in one of the top 2 best selling papers in Spain.

El tercer mejor líder de Inglaterra tiene un marcado acento español - MARCA.com

Nothing to report on players, it just mentions that Brighton are doing very well with Gus Poyet, playing with style, mentions Calderon and also Igor Aranalde (Albions chief scout). Also MIchael Robinson.

I was hoping that it mention new players etc, but it just shows how far we have come when we make the headlines in Spain.

Here's how google sees it:

The third best leader of England has a Spanish accent

* Do not have proper field and play on borrowed time in a public running track · Lead the League One with 25 points in 12 games · Michael Robinson (ex-Osasuna and Liverpool) is one of the historical players

CORBELLA ENRIC 19/10/1910 - 12:22.

The Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club is a traditional English club founded in 1901, after a long journey through the desert for the lower divisions of English football, and playing on borrowed time in a public running track (in 2011 hoping to open its brand new stage), has become one of the sensations of English football to date.

The 'Albion', name on the team knows the coast, is the leader of the League One (third division) with 25 points in 12 games. His average of 2.08 points per game makes him the third best leader in the professional categories of English football. We overcome giants like Chelsea (2.3) and the Queens Park Rangers (2.4).

To build the institutional football resurrection Brighton has relied on Spanish accent characters.

His coach and project leader is none other than the famous Gustavo Poyet , a former player who win at Zaragoza and Chelsea among others. The Uruguayan arrived at Brighton last season started after gain experience as the second of his friend Denis Wise at Swindon Town and assistant to Juande Ramos at Tottenham.

The architect of the 'Seagulls' (gulls) and it also speaks Castilian Spanish passport in his pocket. Igor Aranalde, formerly of Eibar, Marbella, Albacete, Sevilla, came to the call of Poyet to become chief of scouts Brighton. The ibarreña landed in England in 2000 to play at Walsall and is a connoisseur of British football (played in England until his retirement in 2008 in the ranks of Carlisle United).

The idol of the fans, and whose departure from the club almost summer raised a cloud of dust, is the Vitoria Inigo Calderon. The former captain joined Alaves Brighton started last season and since he came became the master of the right side. The fans of the 'Seagulls' love him and his goal opened the scoring in the final game 0-4 in the area of Charlton.

To complete the Spanish trio hired in the summer Brighton Francisco Sandaza, a forward from Toledo that made his name in Scotland to defend the colors of Dundee United for two years. With the 'Albion' is costing a foothold in the title, but has scored a goal this season.

With its trio of Spanish and Uruguayan coach the Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club launch their dreams of a new stadium in the Premier League and greening the glorious years that Michael Robinson, formerly of Osasuna and Liverpool, was the big star.

A bit more clumsy on Babelfish...

The Uruguayan arrived at Brighton initiated the past season after hardening a soldier to fire...

The idol of the liking, and whose almost exit of the club in summer raised a great cloud, is the vitoriano Íñigo Calderón. The ex- captain of the Native of Alava got up to the initiated Brighton the past season and since it arrived it straight made the master and gentleman of the lateral one.

The third-best leaders in England have a Spanish label

(They don’t have their own stadium and play in a borrowed public athletics track – they lead League One with 25 points from 12 games – Michael Robinson is one of their ex-players)

Brighton & Hove Albion are a traditional English club founded in 1901 that have trodden a long path through the desert of the English lower divisions and play in a borrowed public athletics track (in 2011 they hope to move into their brand-new stadium), and have been transformed into one of the sensations of the English season to date.
The Albion, as they are known on the coast, lead League One (third division) with twenty-five points from twelve games. Their average of 2.08 points a game has made them the third-best leaders of the professional leagues, superseded only by giants (?!) like Chelsea and Queen’s Park Rangers.

To build this footballing and institutional resurrection, Brighton have trusted in characters of a thoroughly Spanish brand.

Their manager and project leader is no other than the famous Gustavo Poyet, formerly of Chelsea and Zaragoza amongst others. The Uruguayan arrived at Brighton at the outset of last season after serving as second-in-command to his great friend Dennis Wise at Swindon Town and assistant to Juande Ramos at Tottenham.

The architect of the Seagulls also speaks Castilian and has a Spanish passport in his pocket. Igor Aranalde, formerly of Eibar, Marbella, Albacete and Sevilla, answered Poyet’s call to become chief scout at Brighton. The Spaniard arrived in England in 2000 to play for Walsall and has a deep knowledge of the English game, having played there until his retirement in 2008 at Carlisle United.

The fans’ idol, who almost left the club in the summer, kicking up a great stink in the process, is Inigo Calderon of Vitoria. The former captain of Alaves arrived last season at Brighton and has since bossed the right flank. Loved by the fans, his goal opened the scoring in the 4-0 win over Charlton in the Seagulls’ last outing.

Rounding off the Spanish trio, Brighton signed Francisco Sandaza in the summer, a striker from Toledo who made his name in Scotland playing in the colours of Dundee United for two years. With the Albion, he’s struggling to win over the supporters (?) but has already scored once this season.

With their complement of Spaniards and Uruguayan boss, Brighton dream of their new stadium gracing the Premier League and recapturing their glory days in which Michael Robinson (formerly of Osasuna and Liverpool) was a leading light.
