Anyone remember the Brentford Nylons ad?

Have they still got a sale on then?

RIP fluff

That's her! She looked like one of those pampered housey-wifeys that always led a protected, easy life. A little too protected from real world, and probably expensive to have around.

I recall not feeling too sympathetic to the chubby-chopped cheerful chumpster, at the time.

Until Tessa dumped me too

Come back Tess, I'll be a good boy, honest :cute:

They made a lovely couple

back to fluff.

Fav memory of mine was.
I finally surfaced, hung over, one Sunday lunchtime, & turned the radio on.

I caught the last track played by DLT, no problems I thought.
My head was then assulted by:-

"Thanks DLT, People Are Strange, NOT AFT".

Tessa Wyatt. Went off with Richard O'Sullivan, her co-star in "Robin's Nest".

I'll never forget TB's pathetic crying on Diddy David Hamilton's shoulder when he announced on air that Tessa had "flown the nest." :jester: :jester:

see this excerpt

"Moving again in Autumn 1977 to weekday afternoons for two years, it was during this period Tony went through a divorce from his actress wife Tessa Wyatt (later of Thames comedy series Robin's Nest). He found the emotional loss hard to handle and was prescribed medication in order to help. He made the public aware of his broken heart and repeatedly dedicated weepies such as ‘If You Leave Me Now’ by Chicago to Tessa on his Radio 1 afternoon show. On his last daily Radio 1 show in August 1980 Tony thanked Phil Swern (ex producer of A & M records) for 'help through the toughest times'."

I loved the Fluff show, Mr Angry was my favourite character, along with Gervais the hairdresser.

RIP
