I just watched a bit of Egypt v Libya before I snapped out of it.

Who the f*** gives a toss about African football and would it ever be on TV if BBC had any live proper matches ?

I'd rather watch Whitehawk v Arundel - and there is absolutely no disrespect to anyone in the County League in that remark.

Apart from any African players that is.

Granted, but it just smacks of desperation by the BBC to put something like football on TV.

Truth is that if there were any Seagulls playing, all of a sudden I would take an interest.

Like I hope Reid gets in the Aussie squad for Germany, otherwise I'll struggle to get interested in that Sven soap opera.

Club versus country ? Its not even a question worth asking
