Having got return tickets to london for £1 tomorrow I am planning to see what I can do for the day on next to nothing. So far I have planned to go to:

* War museum
* Tate modern
* British museum
* National history museum
* Science museum

So, where else or what else could I do for next to nowt?

It would take you 2 days to do that lot alone. Camden, Kew Gardens, Buck House, Speaker's Corner, National Gallery.

My favourite part of London is Saville Row/Jermaine Street, I love the whistles on show there and always buy a tie or shirt/cufflinks when I'm up there. I stick to Brighton and Gresham Blake to actually buy a cheapish made to measure whistle.

Go to Regents Park and walk along the canal. You get a free view of the zoo. Then go up Primrose Hill for a picnic and nice views over the city. You might also be able to hear the cheers from Lords.

Went up to London with some friends myself on tuesday. Definetly recommend Regents, especially for the boats and pedallos. Also did the British museum, but we sorta picked and chose what we wanted to see so that would be best way to do it. Science museum as well, has good exhibit on Space Travel cos of the 40th anniversary.

Also Covent Garden if your into being entertained!! Just try to avoid rush hour on the tube, was a nightmare!!
