lol i laughed when united scored because it came literally a minute after the commentater saying 'you certainly cant win this game by thinking you can come back at barcelona within five minutes of them scoring' then BOOM Rooney lol

Exactly - he's just a football supporter with no professional knowledge of the game. So why is he worth millions? His man-in-the-pub questions and discussions on MotD2 with real professionals was simply embarrassing, and there are thousands of men (and hundreds of women) who could do make a better job of it. This moronic celebrity culture we have in the UK has produced this scenario; talentless presenter gets a massive break by being asked by the BBC to present a show already watched by millions. Therefore becomes known to millions, who ITV thinks will be more likely to watch their programmes if said celebrity is presenting. It makes me sick.
