One thing that IS better these days is there are more people of 40, 50 or 60 who look fabulous.
The moves and flexibility of Felicity Kendal (64) and Cheri Lunghi (57) on Strictly Come Dancing were an inspiration. Even Brad Pitt is 47 and Tom Cruise will be 49 next birthday. There are many more examples too.
Whereas, 20 years ago all you had was Cliff Richard, Joan Collins and, at a push, Sophia Loren.
