Sorry if posted before but he has been told he cannot join Yeovil as has played for forest and us already this season and cannot play for a 3rd club as breaches fifa rules.

How come Craig DAVIES can be playing for port vale as he has played for us and yeovil already this season so port vale is his third club?

"Yeovil Town's hopes of re-signing Welsh midfielder Arron Davies have been thwarted after they were told the registration is against FIFA rules.

The 25-year-old has already appeared for Nottingham Forest and Brighton this season and cannot therefore play competitively for the Glovers.

The rules state than an individual may only play for two clubs in one season"

If loans dont count then Yeovil would only be Aaron Davies second club and would be ok as he was only on loan to wasnt he?

None of your buisness
Wasn't the loan deal supposed to be with a view to buy and was part of the Lynch deal?

think that was thornhill

i thought it was that you couldnt play for three clubs in one division in one season - this would explain why craig davies cannot go on loan to another team in our league, other than the fact he probably isnt good enough

The reason being that Craig Davies hasn't played for us competitively this season, he just wandered around the pitch a bit

Not sure the exact in and outs but he would have been able to go to Yeovil on loan but he is a free agent and that would mean him signing permently. Brighton or Forest could sign him and loan him out if you wanted to do that for a small fee ?

makes some sense now, i thought he was contracted to forest still and it was a loan but he is a free agent which obviously effects it. still a grey area as if loans dont count then surely yeovil would have only been his second team not his 3rd.Must be because of this though as Matt THORNHILL is now at Cheltenham Town on loan so he has the 3 clubs as well.

Emergency (short-term) loans do not count. So Craig's spell on short-term loan at Yeovil doesn't count. so longer loans conut short term ons dont! sorted!
