Brighton & Hove Albion under-23 striker Aaron Connolly has won the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for November.
After receiving nominations but missing out on the award in both August and September, it’s third time lucky for the Irishman, who currently sits on 17 goals for the season.
Connolly found the back of the net three times in league competition during November, most notably scoring a brace in Albion’s 3-2 victory over Swansea City towards the end of the month .
His other league goal came against Everton on the south coast, while also firing a hat-trick against MK Dons in a 3-2 Checkatrade Trophy victory for Simon Rusk’s team.
The 18-year-old travelled to Cardiff with Albion's first-team for their Premier League fixture against the Bluebirds, but Chris Hughton opted to leave Connolly out of the 18-man matchday squad.
Connolly fought off competition from five other players across the Premier League 2 divisions, and will look to round off a successful year against West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.
Well done young man , won't be long now .
