Shut around the shoreham turn off westbound and also around lewes

Hopefully wont put people off trying to get to the Dripping Pan tonight

Was queuing from the dyke to the next turn off before the tunnel going west, right where the accidend had happened. Loads of police, two cars with roofs cut off, looks like it could have been a nasty one. You could rejoin the a27 on the next slip road, this was an hour or so ago, probably better by now!

All lanes are now reopened at Southwick, and all seems to be back to normal(ish) around Lewes.

I drove past there 2 hours ago and it was completely clear.

The a27 is a death trap.

It's hilly, bending, not that wide and with THICK drivers about its dangerous.
