The club had the chance for a decent clear-out of the dead-wood but had to give contracts to the likes of Mayo.

Looks like we could end up with largely the same squad give or take a couple of players.

Considering that all the out of contract players aren't ACTUALLY out of contract until June 30 it's a bit premature for people to be bleating on about the lack of signings so far. Not sure we could announce a lot even if we wanted to.

Well it seems we have made approaches and it is now with the players in question and their agents.

If we are still offering the wages that were put on the table in January then it is not out of the question. Like all things we may well have approached him and at present his agent is touting him about.

We do not know. However it is still early into the pre-season.

Also people waffle on about Whing going to Walsall, where is the proof on this? As far as I can see it has been mentioned on Walsall's equivalent site to this, so that must be true, as this place gets so much right.
