A funny thing happened the other day.

I was on the 50A bus home last week, when the bus stopped at the Open Market and a passenger got on. It was one of Brighton’s many ‘street-drinkers’, absolutely wasted.

He went up to the driver and said “Ere, does this bus go to Jupiter?”

“No,” said the driver, “I only go as far as Hollingdean. Jupiter is the next stop.”

Well, it made me laugh.

After failing to get tickets for the home playoff game against Swindon last season, I watched it in the Font after necking a good half a packet of Hawaiian mushrooms. A very strange experience that was....
