When we won their 2-1 at Huddersfield just after Micky Adams left we went to a brilliant pub called the Slubbers Arms.

Somebody has since told me its shut.

Tell me this isn't so?

Oh - and "Flat Cap & Whippet". Joke, right?

Alternatively we could have it as a separate Forum under "the rest"; or does that cause Bozza bandwidth and hosting capacity problems?

I don't remember any of their names, but we visited at least 9 during one of the evenings of my brothers stag events...

one was callled the Meads Club, or something like that...

they all seemed very nice... especially the posh one where we had the turbo shandies. :drink: :drink: :drink:
happy days!

The Meads Club is unfortunately in even worse repair these days :nono:

The Lamb and The Albert in Old Town are both decent pubs

as is The Wheatsheaf in Willingdon

Bibendum is alright not my fave

The Marine is a good pub

The Ship garden is good in the summer

don't bother with the town centre

agree with The Nuthouse - not a regular but I watched the final scenes from Trent Bridge in there and they were very accomodating

weald - the local
watermill - best selection of real ale, and the added bonus of scrumpy jack
jacobs post - the up market version of the railway
the potters - when rumble is not getting us chucked out for stealing a christmas tree
the railway - ok in small doses

Sloaney Pony?
Is a very nice gashfest too, apart from when Chelsea are playing.

I'd say I have 3-4 of the best pubs in London within five minutes of where I work. Which is nice.
