Ive said it before about us drowning them out with our singing, it happened again at the kick off, they were really loud on their first chant, it got drowned out and they shut up for the rest of the 1st half.

You were doing a football bet. Still looking pretty sharp in your early 50's.

Almost filled the away end but never really got behind their team in any meaningful way

Probably tired from the journey Tom.

Yeah they did bring over 2k fans but I hardly heard anything out of them except from 'Come on boro' when they had a corner.

Probably depressed at the thought of having to go back there Uncle.

It is known as the Croydon of the north-east and makes Grimsby look like a nice place to live.

I actually thought Middlesbrough was OK compared to Doncaster and Blackpool

I am talking about their overall conduct rather than vocal strength.

What you wanted to say, but heavily disguised it, was, 'they did not resort to 'does your boyfriend know your here', and other 'gay banter', wasn't it?

Yes, is that wrong ? I just get tired and very very bored with it every game.

Not all 2,000 came from the North remember, saw a fairly large group of Boro fans in Eastbourne at about 1. Still, theres a very large amount there, more than say Burnley and Barnsley

I can only go on what I saw 40 yards away during the game.

Is this a quote from the" Shameful treatment of John Westward" thread?

Do you think that being what you saw from 40 yards away is worth ANOTHER thread after all the stick you took last time?

Good atmosphere after the game with the Boro fans relaxing and spilling out of the away end with their drinks discussing the game. I think they enjoyed their day from the looks of things.
