Albion v Shrewsbury, Fenruary 1st 1969. Shaped up a a routine mid-table fixture...but in the event a few things made the game stand out. Anyone remember?

*How far out was Nobby Lawton when he scored the first? Bonus point for describing the goal as you remember it.

*Who was the Shrewsbury 'keeper that day who went on to play for us?

*Which Albion legend (I use the word in its proper sense), still part of our matchadys today, who scored the second goal?

There was a 5-3 away win against the Shrews in 71 I think where all the goals came in a 23 minute spell.

Dont worry!!

I wont be complaining as I now realise that my post about the "elderly".

Whilst meant as a "jest", offended some posters on this board.

I have offered a public apology...........................

It would be an honour to empty your potty.

But in case N's is watching, you should technically call it a "chamber pot"!!

But if I did that that it would remove one of your great pleasures in life??

Which is to empty it each morning from your upstairs bedroom window on any "chavs" that might be walking underneath at the time!!
