TR Ambrose not out 63

I thought he'd gone there to concentrate on his wicket-keeping.
yes - not fair - must be a significant advantage to have kept wicket to the bowlers you're facing (and batted against them in the nets over several years...)

3 quick wicks this morning please and then runs piled up in the sunshine... after his return to form at Southgate I sense a TON for Monty

What the hell are Nottinghamshire up to?

Do they want to GIVE the Championship to our rivals?

Nottinghamshire 397 & 99/8 (35.3 ov)
Lancashire 200

Nottinghamshire lead by 296 runs with 2 wickets remaining

indeed - I was hoping that the Chairman would pick up the important wicket of diminutive former Sharks gloveman Ambrose...

don't worry about Notts... Lancs won't make 300 in the 4th innings on a dodgy pitch :jester:

a few more than we'd have wanted them to get but a pretty decent bowling effort and nice to see James and Yasir in the wickets

Come on Sussex! (and Notts...):)

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Hampsh**e look as though they will wrap up an innings victory over the Yorkies which will bring them into the title race for sure.

Well bowled Sussex. Looks like a nice batting strip, so hopefully we can touch their total and push past it.

agreed... the hat of our South Coast neighbours will be well and truly in the ring after this round of matches

us getting 400 in this innings would be nice
