2006: Beatles to release new album

I think, all things considered, Apple/The Beatles have been fairly restrained.

They haven't released digital remasters of all the albums (yet) and they won't allow remixes, thank God.

Does make you wonder how many more albums they're going to sqeezue out of The Beatles franchise before they finally let them lie. I bet we're still seeing 'Beatles' albums being released in the run up to Christmas at the turn of the century...

Sounds fine by me. There are vaults and vaults of unreleased stuff still awaiting an official, spruced-up release.
You don't have to buy 'em.

You can listen to them all online. A truely wonderful album. Apple have been very careful of how they handle all things 'Beatles' so you can hardly accuse them of milking a franchise.

Untill a band comes anywhere near as close to changing music the way the Beatles did, then the Beatles will be 'allowed to die'.
