'Gay' is only offensive if you consider it to be a huge insult. If you are liberal enough to not actually care who is gay, then why bother being offended by it.
In that you would need to find the idea of being gay abhorent, to be insulted by being called gay, it is almost homophobic in itself.

The stupid fact is that there are no more gays in Brighton percentage wise of the local population then anywhere else in the country, Brighton has a much bigger percentage of gays than anywhere else because gays from ALL OVER THE UK come to Brighton because of the liberal attitude something that appears to have gone over the heads of the pondlife that make the chants.

I don't get why homophobic taunting is seen as alright yet there's this big thing nowadays about racism. They're both derogatory and prejudicial right?

If we sing "1-0 to the nancy boys" and chez is in the crowd with us, can he sue us all for insinuating that he is gay?
I personally couldn't give a toss if someone called me gay, said I had HIV or whatever. It just shows them to be complete tossers which is amusing. Call me a Palace fan on the other hand .
